WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT

 

WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) encompasses the management of inventory from the point it exists the transportation network to be manufactured or stored until the inventory is re-introduced into the supply chain for its “final mile” to a client. While many distribution centers, manufacturing plants and warehouse sites relying on the WMS to manage their products and provide visibility, the solutions and their implementations are significant in size, scope, and scale. The challenge is ensuring these systems, often developed and supported by different providers who struggle to focused on a singular supply chain network, are intgrated and focused to deliver on their respective areas of strength.

 

We work with our partner network to allow clients to leverage experts in design, implementation, and support of WMS systems. TMS (Transportation Management Systems) involves an expansive array of solutions designed for sourcing, rating, and tracking shipments from one point to the next and can be focused on supplier visibility, performance, and costs. Many systems focus on the needs for domestic transportation or telemetrics, or combine many areas together. Few bring the trade global trade needs or incorporate the nuances of international sourcing and transportation networks.

BI (Business intelligence) refers to the strategies and technologies used to interpret and leverage organization and market data to gain efficiencies and competitive advantage in the marketplace. BI technologies offer visibility into operational trends, benchmarking, and both predictive and prescriptive analytics.  These functions are used by supply chain and global trade organizations to assess their current market position and to gain insight into new markets and opportunities.

 

We work with our partner network to design and integrate data from GTM, WMS, and TMS platforms to provide a holistic supply chain visibility solution to our customers.  Our experience in global trade and logistics has lead to the development of standard dashboards and metrics.  As with all good standards, we continuously review market trends to identify new ways to drive value through dashboard enhancements. Customers are empowered to create their own dashboards as operational and market changes occur.
